We're sorry to see you go. Here is how to permanently delete your Khala account.

How to Delete Your Khala Account

If you would like to permanently delete your Khala account and associated personal data, here’s how:

  • Send an email to hello@kha.la from the same email address used in your Khala account.
  • Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
  • Optionally, include your Khala username in the message for faster processing.

Note for Sign In with Apple Users

If you signed in with Apple and chose the “Hide My Email” option, your Khala account is linked to a private relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com. In this case, your real email may not match the one we have on file.

To help us verify your identity, please include your Khala username in your deletion request, or attach a screenshot from the app showing your profile page. This helps us match your request to the correct account.

What Will Be Deleted

  • Your account profile including name and email
  • All uploaded content, such as reviews and dish photos
  • Your authentication credentials managed by Firebase

What May Be Retained

  • Anonymized usage statistics (non-identifiable)
  • Data required for legal or regulatory compliance

We process all deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account is fully removed.
